service at freightliner dealer

I want to let everyone on this site know of the service I recieved at the Troy IL Freightliner dealership. Fellow EO I was blown away I took the truck in for an oil change and a transmission service for a Allison Auto. I was told three hours, five hours went by and I was just a little anxious as you could understand. The GM came out and apoligized and told me that there would be NO CHARGE, I went to argue that I at least needed to pay for the products since it was the synthetic transmission fluid. He told me abosolutly not and continued to apoligize. Wow service in America can still be found. I highly encourgage anyone in that area to use there facility for service. The wierd thing is I own a KW.

Very cool! Sounds like the last of the honest people in the world are still alive and well! Hopefully all other dealers can take a lesson from these great folks! Drive safe and be profitable!

wow! We will definately go there! We have had horrible luck with certain Freightliner dealerships. It is refreshing to know that there is at least one good one!
Thanks for the heads up!

broompilot being a fellow allison owner, there is something about your post that has me wondering. as i understand it with the synthetic fluid you should change the filters at 75,000 miles and filters and fluid at 150,000 miles. i know that you just got started a few weeks ago with that brand new truck, why the tranny service so soon? DD.
