His policies in those areas, if enforced, would make the United States look like some sort of oppressive dystopian novel. For starters, he doesn’t believe the Constitution provides for the right to privacy, even in the confines of one’s bedroom. “If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual sex within your home,” he has said, “then you have a right to bigamy, you have a right to polygamy, you have a right to incest, you have a right to adultery. You have a right to anything.

He's all for getting govco out of our lives. Yeah, right. Except when involves our most intimate times.

The problem with Santorum is he's taking his que from the far right religious groups who feel they need to control others through laws and regulations, nothing short of the same thing that the dems feel they need to do. Just look at the big to do about nothing and the birth control issue, it is really not about the Church or their doctrine but many have made it that way.

Actually, it's ALL about the church, their doctrine and whether or not the government has the power to dictate to any church what their doctrine will be. There are two outrageous impositions of power being attempted by Obama in this so-called "insurance mandate": (1) forcing the Catholic church to violate their core beliefs by providing these services (2) forcing the insurance companies to provide contraception for free. Does this by extension mean that the pharmaceutical companies must manufacture the pills at no charge? Of course not, and the insurance companies won't provide them for free either - they'll just raise their rates. Contraception shouldn't be part of an insurance policy anyway - it's not an extraordinary expense, it's an everyday expense for those who want to prevent pregnancy and manage their family planning. If otherwise devout Catholics want to practice birth control and disagree with their church on that matter, that should be between them and their church with no governmental interference involved. If this ruling is allowed to stand, the next logical step might be for the government to mandate that Muslim women are banned from wearing the hijab (head / face covering) in public buildings and that synagogues must serve bacon and ham at any meals they serve for those that might prefer it.

Found a house in Belize for just $79K. Walk to the beach, down town, the reef is 30 minutes away by boat. Beautiful beaches, warm sunshine etc... So no matter which one of these nut jobs get elected or re-elected, there is a place in the sun with no taxes on income coming in from the US and you can't vote in their elections so you don't need talk radio. Just margarita's and sea food. Bob Marley said it best...
