Okay, I have seen Avatar and Up In The Air . Both were worth it! What have you seen lately?

Also, what is your preferred method? Movie theater? DVD? Streaming? (Netflix, etc).

Don't do theaters, too expensive and I can't pause the movie to go to the bathroom!! LOL! Don't know about Avatar, does not look like my type. Don't know much about the other. We do DVD's. The "newest" movie we have seen is "Star Trek" not great but not bad.

We have been soo busy with family and work making it impossible to make time for a movie..
However we did see the Pixar release called "UP" and it was awesome!
Last theater we visited was in CT next to the T/A and we thoroughly enjoyed "Blindside"..
Ok movies are a "little dated" but hey if by chance you haven't seen them it is worth every penny:cool:

Blind Side.... I have enjoyed the book in audio on my I-Pod. The DVD will be on my must have list.

We went and saw the matinee of Avitar and that is the best movie I have seen in a very long long time. We like to take the time on the weekend to go see a movie in the afternoon. We do not frequent the snack bar and that saves us a lot of money there.

We keep and eye out for theaters on the way into town and as we are looking for a truck stop.

Saw "Up" recently, & liked it very much - Pixar makes my favorite movies.
Don't watch anything that has commercials, ever, for any reason, and prefer a home [or motel] environment over theaters.

REcently I took my girlfreind to see the movie Blindside. It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time, it really tore me up pretty good.Another good one was Fireproof. It is a must see especially for married couples, but single people as well.I prefer DVD over any other method, because if it is a good movie, I can watch it over and over, such as Pure Country.I have over 600 movies so far.

Avitar, a must see in 3-D. Now I do not like movies in 3-D, however, this is the exception. This movie has the potential to change the future of movie watching. Ofcourse being an exfootball coach gotta love blind side.

Don't go to the movies that often, usually see all the new releases on projectfreetv.com unless it is one I feel requires the theater effect like 2012.

Cool.......A "Neutral" Thread.;)

I too love watching movies!

Preferrence - DVD's at home on my big screen, period. Last time I set foot in a movie theatre was probably 5 years ago. Paid $3.00 for a 12:05PM "matinee" showing and $15.00 more for a medium coke, medium popcorn, and a box of "Hot Tamales". Said never again. I can and will wait for the DVD release, and then use my $9 NETFLIX account to watch 50 movies a month if I want to.

Just got "Inglorious Ba*tards" for Christmas. Great Movie!! Quentin Tarrantino at his best. Nobody else but Pitt could have played/mastered the LT Aldo Raine character.

Also got ""Public Enemies" with Johnny Depp. Poor movie, not one of Depps best. Very slow, and didn't really like the way Dillinger was characterized in the way he was towards the leading lady.
