Just a reminder, for those of you who are able to give blood should try to do so as often as you can. You are allowed to give blood every 56 days. This is a difficult business to get on a donation schedule but if you see a blood drive, drop in and give a pint. It only takes about an hour and you get FREE coffee, juice and cookies!! What a GREAT deal!!

We try to give platelets when we are home as you can give more often but this is time consuming. It is very easy to give blood and we find this an easy way to give something back to our community.
We have also given blood out on the road when we can.

We've done that. See a bloodmobile and just stop in. They think it's cool when we tell them we drive a truck.
