San Deigo Metro KOA

If you have to be laid over in San Diego for the weekend this place accepts commercial vehicles. The KOA is located in town and from here you can ride bikes, rent a car or just walk around and see the area. The parking spots are very nice and if you want they will bring you a fire pit. We were able to meet up with another couple and we enjoyed an evening of relaxation watching the fire.

The KOA is a bit pricey but it was a very nice evening.

Well when we registered they did not look out to see our truck nor did they ask for the year of the truck. They were very accommodating and even looked up where our friends were parked so we could get the space next to them.

I thought the experience was a good one and we will consider a KOA if we need a break and have a long weekend.

We stayed there for a few days last year while on layover. It's a very nice campground and the people are very friendly! We had numerous people stop by to "check us out" They'd never heard of "Expediting" before.
