Whether one is for or against gay parents shouldn't really be in the equation. The reality is they don't have enough parents willing to adopt kids. If they did, there wouldn't be a need for adoptions.
So then, the question becomes, which is better. Children adopted by gay parents that "could" possibly love them, or a orphanage or group home setting where revolving staff make that a extreme unlikihood?
No need to complicate the simple. Do what is best for the kids in need of a home.

Well, first, I'm not a homophobe. I've known gay people from college and work. I have no problem with them so long as they respect my choice equally to theirs. Second, I believe it clearly indicates that was Russia's decision and choice so even if there are homophobes among us they had nothing to do with it.

I think it is entirely up to Russia what they do as a nation. We have enough problems here of our own.

It is a sad day when Russia holds the moral highground. Moreover, it isn't so much that Russia is great, but rather the United States has become a moral and social cesspool. Homosexuality is unnatural. Those who would deny this self evident fact are not grounded in truth.
