rockin' in the wind

as the weather front came thru last tuesday i was in the rv section of the j. the wind blew hard and the truck rocked. not just gentle rolling but ROCKED as the box was directly in the path of the wind. if i had parked with the big trucks i would have been face into the wind.

so here is the question, does a truck with tandems rock a lot when the wind blows at the box when parked? should i have put the dolly legs down?

As a first step you can drop the air out of your suspension and if that isn't enough you can put the dolly legs down. I'm sure tandems are somewhat more stable but without dropping the air they're all going to rock.
