I second that YIPPEE!!flown through a level one in California.last week.
N.V troopers where busy on the state line today pulling over every one that looks suspicious, I.E LHV's, old box trucks, placards, and yes: those penskey yellow van box{yippy!} .
IF a safety officer was really on the ball....and concerned about safety...they would research how many of their fleet is out of service, sitting in truck stops for no real reason, during this Blitz. I know of a couple I've ran into the last few days....who knew they would not pass and were instructed by their fleet owner to stay parked.

Im glad theyre shaking down the rental trucks hopefuly they bust the fly by night, illeagal, cheating basterds.
Those loosers might cost me a run. I had a customer ask if I can spot a truck at thier place tonite or tomorrow morning to load throughout the weekend for a late Sunday early Monday departure. I called the rental outfits before dropping my truck and was told nothing available untill Monday or Tuesday. And I need to keep my truck available for a run tomorrow.
