Road Side Assistance

Like to know if there are any clubs like AAA for the transportation industry, It's hard to get help whrn you need it.

I know there is something of this nature because my previous owner had a network he called when one of his fleet had a problem. I do not know however what the group was called. I need the service myself now. I am going to check OOIDA site to see if they have anything like that.

AAA does cover the trucking industry. We have it for both our vehicles at home and our truck out here. It also gives you good discounts on hotel rooms and rental cars.

Hello bernieh48,

I appreciate your reply, and I did try to contact AAA with no luck. They said that they do not offer Road Side Assistance for business accounts.

I have started getting loads out of my area and need some sort of membership in a club that provides this service. Do you happen to have a contact name and number fot the club that you belong to?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

OOIDA offers Breakdown Coverage annual premium $207.00 for $1500.00 limit per incident. Call 1-800-715-9369 ask for Rod Goderman. Rod was very helpful with information.

As a hotshotter, AAA is not for you or the other trucks your size.

For expediter vans, AAA is OK. I've used their roadside assistance and towing for my van on numerous occasions.
