has any one ever used road law to help clean up a mvr? (motor vehicle report) i was recently disqualified from my carrier of which i was leased to for 9 yrs because of a b/s ticket in ny state.i wasn't aware of the new rule for cdl holders where the out of state citations are now reported on your mvr so i just paid the fine and saved time off fighting it in court.road law has a very hefty price tag but is willing to try to reopen this case and save my carrer.has anyone ever had any sucess doing this???? thanks in advance greg

While no gaurantee, the only hope you have is finding an attorney that practices in the county in which the ticket was written. Anything else is a waste of money.

My hubby was involved in an accident and got a ticket in Indiana. We fought it and it is not anywere on his MVR cost us 750.00. We belong to Pre paid Legal, and pay a % of the bill they find us a lawyer in the area we need.

ok thanks to all that replied.steve my situation isn't pretty thanks to one bad week in january this year i'll be waiting close to 3 full years for enough violations to fall off.i feel being penalized over a ticket for being in the wrong lane crossing the george washington into the big city during rush hour shouldn't cost me everything i've worked hard for but what in this industry is fair?? i've already sold my pride and joy a 2003 peterbilt and wii soon be hitting the welfare line..at least the slow freight and high fuel prices are the least of my concern for now..good luck to all who are able to make a honest living..

I did that 3 year routine, but I got on with another carrier before, the 4th ticket showed up,now three years later, everything is well.I did try to reopen a case and found that it is almost impossible
I was involved on a wreck and lawyer said he could get made into a parking ticket, instead of wreck and ticket for wreck,he turned it into 2 speeding tickets.I had missed a rest area that was being used as a state scale, prosecuter from that county in new york said wasnt a moving violation, dont worry about it,in ohio thats like going thru stop light, couldnt get that off my record either
good luck
