Good info here.

My question is...What about the cleanup?

We use paper plates, ziplock bags etc to help.We have also found a mixture of 10% alcohol and 90%water is better than soap because of the large amount of water needed for rinsing.

So maybe I haven't checked this forum in a while.

I have been using one of those cigarette plug in lunch box heaters with pyrex glass containers to heat my food in. I buy the crock mashed potatos and macaroni and cheese from WalMart. The Uncle Ben's packaged cooked rice is great too. I open cans of mixed vegetables and put everything in the pyrex container and heat it with my lunchbox heater. I'm a vegetarian, so I don't worry about meat.

Cleaning? I take my dirty containers into the shower with me and get them very clean. I make sure I don't pee in the shower when I'm cleaning my containers. lol

I eat from paper plates and bowls. Also, plastic forks, knives and spoons that can be cleaned in the shower, also.

You know you're going to take a shower, so just save up the containers for a constant supply of clean cookware.

I have a microwave now, which means I can cook faster. But, I still use the same containers. Leftovers are kept in the container with a lid and put into my cooler.
