Time 0300 this am phone rings it's the guy from dispatch wants to know why my tracker hasn't showed me moving in 3 hrs..
My response was , hey idiot it's because I'm sleeping what did you get from Santa cause it sure wasn't brains!
He says oh when will you get to Boston
I asked him where I was now on GPS tracker and he gives me the address if the delivery and the name of the place I'm parked, he still didn't get it.
My next comment was click....

Where do they get these Einstein's anyways? after Toledo to Boston on Christmas Day I wasn't polite !!!!!

That's why if you are within a mile or three you always send the macro for arrived at delivery even if you are going to have to drive 5 minutes the following day to actually be there. It won't eliminate the problem but will greatly reduce it.

at our carrier, we are to phone in or QC message dispatch whenever we go for a nap...

I heard at Load 1 that some drivers take alot more Naps than others ......{ please see post above }......

Last year we got a memo from M. Johnson Sr.......because Mark was calling people whilst sleeping....so the solution was call or QC dispatch when going for an extended nap......you guys should really learn the rules.....LOL

Happened to me once even tho I sent the "arrived macro" at around midnight....unload time was 6 am, dispatched called at 4am to see why I wasn't unloaded yet?....DOH....I said "check my delivery time"....Ohhh..was the official response.....LOL
