Retrofitting

Seeing we have some more bad news with CARB and all the other crap from the EPA coming soon, I am wondering if anyone out here is going to go through the process to retrofit your equipment to be able to drive in California or later on the US.

What I mean for those who don't own a 2007 or later truck is putting on the equipment to make the thing 2007 complaint.

California? Where is this California you speak of? I can't find it in my atlas.

Hopefully, this global warming crap will be TOTALLY debunked in the next year, and the Republican congress and Romney or Thompson will get rid of the EPA's uncontested power.

One can dream, right?

Greg,

Is the CARB for the tractors for the entire State or just the populated areas? Example if you leave Reno and are going to Portland does the tractor have to meet 07 emmissions if it is an 02?

From what I am hearing there this will be state wide and every thing traveling in or through California will be affected. I think that it oversteps the boundaries between the states and the feds.

I know in the next few years they will take this BS to a level that will impact the entire nation and possibly kill O/O trucking off. The Bali conference was a sham and many point to the fact that there is no seriousness about the subject but to shift wealth, especially with the threats that the US has to do something - we already do MORE than anyone else.
