Responding to classified ads

I sent a reply to the same ad twice this morning, by clicking the "reply to EO ad" hyperlink on the particular ad.

I've received two Daemon mailer notices that both were rejected.

Maybe the seller lost his internet service.

No I think there is a problem... We received a couple questions about our truck through what USAFK9 is talking about and I replied to the email. Luckily one guy took enough time to figure out our email and ask why we had not responded.

It does not seem as if the system used is very stable.

What ad specifically are you having an issue with?

If a person has a bad email address - you will get a bounce back.

We remove ads when the users email bounces.

It is stable. We verify that a users email address is valid when they create an account and post their ad. After that we are at the mercy of bounce backs to take action.

We can only take action once we have verified the email is bad, if there is a phone number in the ad - we will attempt to give a courtesy call so they can fix it. If the email is still invalid - the ad is removed.
