Respect

Have you noticed that a common topic in most of the mega carrier ads for drivers is “respect.” Come work for us and we will give you respect.

Are you crazy? Inference suggests extreme abuse of drivers. Nowhere else in the general job market do job seekers get promises of respect.

Like someone who says in making a point “I’m not going to lie to you...”

If drivers feel they aren’t getting respect from dispatchers, then management needs to monitor and hire dispatchers who are pleasant.

Let’s make respect something understood and expected.
