Hello Partners in business,

Can anyone tell me of a FedEx Custom Critical CONTRACTOR, in Michigan, or near Michigan that can remove FedEx's Qualcomm & Dish Equipment. Would rather have a near by contractor finish the job, other than going back to Ohio.

Are their any contractors out their that preform this service other than going to Green, OH for this needed service?

Thank You!!!

Is it a van or a truck?

Anyone can do the work, You will need some hand tools and a side cutter (wire cutters). The bracket should stay with the truck, the dome, the control unit and the head unit (keyboard) are to be returned. I have been told several times the wiring harness is thrown out so no need for that, but check with Green.

DON'T take it to TJs.

If you want to have some 'professional' to remove it, go to the frieghtliner dealer off of Roscommon road exit on 94 - they will remove it for a price.

When I replaced my old van with a new one at Con-Way I removed the dome, mounting bracket and wire harness. I was told not to cut the wire harness because there was a $150 charge for that. I'm not sure what FECC's policy is, but to be safe return everything intact or risk losing a chunk of your escrow.

If you are able to speak to FDCC ask their Clink people where. There is a place they use near Belleville. I don't know the name.

The one Greg is talking about is a dealer for them as it is on Panthers list of repair places. It is called Wolverine. Not sure if they will do one from the Fed for free or not?

Thanks Dave, I was too lazy to look up the name.

They do FedEx work, they will do any Qualcomm work because they are a repair station for them.
