Would be a reason to hit the pause button for those that might be contemplating a purchase.

That EGR system might be good down the line, but right now it;s a severe restriction on these motors. I would avoid them for a while. If they file for bankrupcy all bets are off.

I think CAT was in the same position, they got out of the highway engine application all together. You would think Navistar would have taen better advantage of the situation.

Rudolph Diesel intended for his invention to be a simple, reliable, and effective machine not what it has become in the past ten years.

Lets face it the EPA destroyed the Diesel engine.
