I was at the Sprinter dealer yesterday and the fellow in the parts dept. told me MB has just authorized the use of....MOBILE1 0W40 European blend in the 07/08 6 cylinder diesel engines...
might be easier and cheaper now for you guys to do oil change now.

That stuff is hard to find around here so I've changed brands. Using a 5W-40 euro blend synthetic. Works good for my buggy.

Hi,Iam having bad problem with my 2007 sprinter diesel van.Its having a carbon,soot build up.That involves the egr cooler and valve mainly.Its seems to happen every 15000 to 20000 miles.The engine light comes on and have very bad acceleration.Iam doing all my maintenance and buyng ulsd fuel.Can anyone tell me what I can do or whats causing it ?
