I have a couple of questions on how ratings work. First, should'nt people not be able to give themselves points? Second, is it fair that someone would recieve negative points because of a simple difference of opinion. Apparently Teacel got negative points because he did'nt agree with someone on an issue not even involving expediting. Just wondering.

I agree - Users should not be able to rate themselves however; it is a feature that is not able to be changed in this software.

Is it "fair"? - probably not, but that's what happens when you allow users to rate each other, sometimes they're well thought out and helpful to the community - sometimes they are not.

Thanks Lawrence, those are the answers I expected. The negative points over a disagreement made me think of my ex-father-in-law. Whenever we had a disagreement there was always something wrong with me for not thinking like him. I know... I should have gone along to get along. But sometimes...
