Rate increase

I see LTL carriers and some major truck load carriers have been taking rate increases of about 5% per year Pitt Ohio just posted a increase of 7.5%. Have any of the expedite companys had yearly or recent increase other than fuel sure charges that you know of.

None that I've heard about! But do you honestly think that even if they did get a rate increase of 5% or even 10% it would be passed on to the driver??? I'm willing to wager a few on --- another decrease here real so!!! The companies may start a new deduction, like the TPS freight, but may call it FMPO-freight--For my pocket only. Have fun and be safe out there!!!!!!!

Come on Tony, you're the big company owner- you can buck the system-
simply confuse the customers with the PGH 3% loyal customer discount tacked on with a 5% fuel surcharge! Just hide the fuel surcharge in some sort of tax deductible BS through your accountant.. You can do it, I have faith in you!! And if I don't... You love me but you'll kill me, right??
