As he mentions how different groups place the blame elsewhere for America's troubles, I find it odd imagining how we on EO also apportion the blame differently. As similar as we are in many respects, we're still so very different.

Race war, class war, anti-
government riots – you
name it. All of it is headed
our way.
The sentiment across the
nation, as Michael
Bloomberg suggested in a
recent interview , is that
Americans know something
is wrong in this country. For
every individual and the
groups with which they
affiliate it’s different. For
the black panthers it’s
racism and poverty. For
unions it’s benefit cuts,
wage cuts and free market
solutions. For Tea Party
members it’s an intrusive
and socialist government.
The majority of America is
not happy and they’ve lost
hope, because regardless of
what group you identify
with, what color you are or
what way you lean
politically, you’re losing
jobs, falling behind on
essential bills, having
difficulty putting food on the
table and are constantly
being accosted by
government on all levels.
When the riots start – and
they will – the core
motivators for individuals
who hit the streets will be
similar. Where the
difference will arise is who
each person or group will
blame. Those elites in the
upper echelons of our
command and control
apparatus thrive on hate,
confusion and panic, and
they will use our own
ignorance against us.
When we discuss the coming
civil disobedience and
unrest in America, we may
find ourselves visualizing
protests where the people
join together to oust a
tyrannical government. Be
forewarned. This is not the
most likely outcome – at
least not at the outset. With
so many different ideologies
in this country, every one of
us interprets the problems
and directs blame a
different way. These
differences will be used
against us; they’ll be used to
turn us against each other.
As you watch the following

with his solutions to the
problems or where he places

those of others that are fed
up with what’s going on in

This guy's mostly right. One of the battles isn't over budget cuts here at home, that's just his own personal agenda coming to the surface, much like the personal agenda of others over free stuff, racism and poverty, benefit cuts, wage cuts, free market solutions, intrusive, oppressive and socialist government, and whatever issue du jour you can think of. All these issues that seem to be the issue, depending on who you talk to or your own political bent, and those are the ones people want to talk about, write about, take poll surveys about, but it's the bigger overall issue of, as he says in the article and I paraphrase, the majority of America, and the world, is not happy and they've lost hope, because regardless of what group you identify with, what color you are, what your personal or political agenda is, or what way you lean politically, you're losing jobs, falling behind on essential bills, having difficulty putting food on the table and are constantly being accosted by government on all levels for all kinds of petty crap.

Corporate news agencies and Bloggers with an agenda are trying desperately to make OWS into something it's not, because they will absolutely not benefit from what it actually is. The rich are getting richer by orders of magnitude, while the poor are getting poorer, and the middle class is becoming the poor class. This is about taking back basic rights, the rights to choose, the rights to live your life the way you want to, the right of liberty. The many issues above, and many others, are not the issues, they are the symptoms, and the stepping stones to the root cause of the problem.

There will be riots in the streets. Many of them. They will happen because there are otherwise peaceful protests going on right now, which the police are treating like imminent riots in the making. They will happen because those in power do not want to give it up. Out society has evolved into a structure where those who think they are the good citizens, the ones who go to work and pay their bills on time (the hoodwinked), are doing exactly what those in power want them to do, because it keeps them in power, and further enriches them on a daily basis. Those in power will turn those good little citizens onto the protesters (they already have to a degree), and will use the anarchy to strengthen their power. But eventually, the good little citizens will wake up and see the light and realize they've been duped, and will join forces with everyone else against those in power, and the pendulum will swing back the other way for a change.

This is societal evolution, and history repeating itself. Only this time it will happen on a global scale. We've seen bits and pieces, meager beginnings, in places like Egypt and in the Arab world, Greece, France, and now in New York and other places around the country and the globe. It's just beginning. This is sooo not about getting free college or Medicare or credit cards paid off. Not even close.

It is coming. I have looking for this for a while now. I was hoping and praying that I would not live to see it. Now I may have to fight it. It is NOT about keeping my "power". It is ALL about keeping my "Freedom".

Those that we see in the streets right now are just those fools who are easily duped into believing anything. There are just more of them. Granted it is Fox news, but how much could they twist that kind information? Is it made up? Don't know any more than some of the other stuff floating out. If you take out the income redistribution items, they aren't that far off from the tea party which they seem to hate. Maybe should join forces?

The sad thing about this whole mess called the Obama presidency is that the effects of his radically liberal agenda combined with unprecedented incompetence will be a burden on the next two generations of Americans. The reason he was put in office was because the public bought into a concept of style over substance sold to them by a mainstream media that was more committed to a political agenda than a commitment to objective reporting of the facts. Maybe in the future a decent percentage of voters will take it upon themselves to do their due diligence on the candidates rather than base their decisions on empty rhetorical phrases like "hope and change".

Do I think there will be riots yes I do.Do I think they will last long nope I sure dont.As soon as the first Window is smashed then the police in NY will unleash on the protesters with glee.And you know what they will get what is coming to them as soon as they turn to violence.

I dont belive that they will get the sympathy from the world that they the protesters say in egypt got.As many in the world have a hard time seeing the wall street protests on the same level as some protesters in egypt,syria,libya or Iran.The thing that most dont get is that the protest that have broken out in the middle east The protesters have in one way or another had the backing of the outside world.libya protesters had nato bombs.Egypt protesters had the white house and other countrys putting presure on Hosni Mubarak to step down from power.This really has been the only way that the protesters have been able to do bring about change.Just look at syria and Iran.As the world powers stay mum hundreds die protesting for the very kind freedoms that the wall street protesters are protesting about.

One only has to go to youtube and watch the videos that have been posted by the protesters themselfs to see they do want freebies.The do want what other people have without working for it.They do want free college,healthcare,they do think everyone should make the same amount of money.again these are videos that the protesters have posted.


In a way when violence does break out they just may get the change in the way the government does things.It just will not be the change they seek.
