Hello all, I have a question about how to grease the throw out bearing on a eaton fuller 6 speed transmission. It started making some squeaking noises, I can't find any type of grease fitting it seems the bearing is encased. I tried greasing the tranny shaft to no Aveil. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

There should be a grease fitting at the bottom of the bearing.

If there isn't, I guess there's a possibility someone put it in upside down, although how they managed to do that evades me.

If it gets much worse, it's time to pull the tranny. If you go that far, you might as well replace the clutch.

Being a Freightliner I wonder if they may have switched to a sealed bearing.
Of course, that doesn’t change the diagnosis from Dr Greasey.

A few weeks ago I drove through some slushy snow and forced a decent amount of water in there. The noise went away for a while but it eventually came back with force. I will try to attach a photo of the bearing I Beleive it is a sealed bearing.

IF getting it wet would help, I’d say hire WOM to drive it.
Unfortunately, that won’t do it.
Schedule the replacement soon.

Probably have.
Driveshaft down.
Transmission down.
Slide off,pray, inspect shaft, reinstall.
Since trans is out, you might as well replace the clutch.
A good shop I’d think 7 or 8 hours.Including clutch replacement.

The very first step is to determine the spot where the engine usually stops. Because of compression, the engine generally stops in the same place each time. Start and stop it a few times. If the new clutch is manually adjustable, you want the adjuster to stop in that window so you don't have to try to bump the motor over a million times to get to it.
