To get the cash price, do you need actual cash or will they (truck stop) accept a debit card as cash ?? I hate carrying alot of cash.

I believe debit and comdata qualify for cash price. Also check out Leo's post "Who's $20" which can be found at the top of the Newbies Forum.

As a former manager of Pilot when I left 18 months ago although it should of been treated differently debit was the same as credit and subject to the upcharge at that time of .06/gal. Listening to truckers rip my face off when I was on their side of the arguement was one of the reasons I left after 12 years. If somebody had the time and some smarts they should take on the Pilots, TA's, J's, etc over the discrimnation of why there is no upcharge on the 4 wheeler side yet there is one on the big truck side for paying with the exact same card. How can you charge for credit on one side of the business at the exact same loaction and not the other, sounds illegal to me. In the big paicture where and who do they make the money on. Fuel for thought!!!
