On listening to the radio, the communist from Mexico stated during his RANT temper tantrum. On how we AMERICANS killed so many Indians and took this land.

So they have the right to invade us now? Is this justice to what I did or my father did oh 300 or 200 years ago?

May I ask any of you what ever happened to the Aztec Indians?

How about who discovered America? Was it not funded by Spain the Spanish speaking Country? Did they not rule Mexico in some sort of agreement with England and France? And just how did they rule way back in the 1700s and 1800s?

Just need a refresher course on History if one could help me out here.

all i can say is BROOOOM broooom brooooom ..your all revved up trucker ..nice work ..To add a point ..Ive made before ..the Creeks took from the Cherokee the Cherokee from the Choctaw ..the Algonquin from the Mohawk, the Mohawk from the Shawnee etc etc etc.. indians fought with the french and english. Indians guided Custer to the cheyenne at Little big horn... Mexicans as well as formerslaves as well as europeans fought for Texas independence And if the Mexicans were the originals why arnt they speaking Aztecan and not Spanish!! Let them purge themselves of everything European and return to the old ways..

first at all, you said: or my father did 300 years ago, well, 300 years ago your father or grand father where not in this great country, read your American History, Secondly, your are statin that Mexico is a COMUNIST Country, where do you get your facts from? please I will be the second on to be enlighten with your coments, You are claiming that Mexico is invading this Country, please post your facts and be specific about it, for what I know, Mexico was invaded by France, (Maximiliano and Carlota ) family of Emperaton Napoleon, Mexico was invaded by England, and from my beloved Country U.S.A., Cristobal Colon discovered the Americas, after been in now Mexico, Spain send an invaiding force lead by Hernan Cortez, They did not founded Mexico, the Aztecs did, in the great Tenoxtitlan, where they did found an eagle fighting a serpent on top of a cactus,they knew thy have to find a signal, and thy did,(Mexico's eagle on the center of their flag) they had another vission and where waithing for a God to visit them, they knew that a white man (God) will be soon arrive, blond, blue eyes,and so on, when Cortez arrived with invading forces, the Aztecs took him for God, and humbly surrend and respect him as a God,what Cortez did, he stole all the gold that the Aztecs had, they not knew the value of that commodity, and Cortaz send his flag ship back to Spain loaded with gold.We enherited the Spanis language from Spain. I know, ( The tree of a sad night) where Cortez was defeated by the Aztecs after they discovered he was not God after all, farest the other "Invasions" by other countries, there was a fierce fight each time, and avery country pack their gears and left one by one (not all at the same time)

The facts were direct from the radio show host that orginized the May first protest. He said our fathers killed all of the inidans. He also stated that the real plan is to invade this country with as many illegals to get them citizenship to vote the way they want to see this country run. (Free Everything to them Illegals).

Along with many other items on how wrong we are in everything we do.

And what does it have to do with Expediting, when we can no longer find a load out of Laredo, El Paso, Brownsville. Than one might remember the his post "What does this have to do with Expediting?"

I agree with you in some ways but if my memory serves me correct most of the people off the boats was outcast,criminals and liars.

If every generation was responsable for the previous generation then everybody would be fighting everybody.The only good thing about war is it finally settles disputes that have brewed through the years.

How is it fair to the 2 million legal immigrants who enter this country every year to simply allow illegals to just come in with out paying the costs?

Why should the Mexican government ever try to improve their country's economy and standard of living when the people will not revolt against them?Instead they just sneak across the border,work in the US and then send money back to Mexico.Thus financing the corruption.

Maybe we should just invade Mexico and make it the 51st state.That way they wouldn't have to sneak across the border.We could kick out the corrupt leadership and we wouldn't need passports to go on vacation.

We should be careful how we treat Mexican Illegal Aliens.
Twenty years from now after all manufacturing industries have left our country in pursuit of cheaper labor. After all our computor and service industries all well established in India and other countries. There will be no jobs left in America for our ever growing population.
In those days our children may be Illegal aliens in Mexico or Canada desparately seeking to make wages to send home to their families. How do we want them to be treated?

Speaking strictly for myself, Marty, my children will not ever be illegal aliens - because they have been brought up to respect the law.
I have no quarrel with legal emigrants, welcome the additions, in fact - but illegals are NOT law abiding citizens, and tolerating their continued presence is a slap at every person who did it the right way. As well as those who are currently waiting for
official permission, to do it the right way.

As I read through this post, I have to wonder about the motivations of others to rewrite history.

Sorry you apologists out there but as with slavery, the Mexican question is the same as any other issue that we as citizens of this country face – a spotty past that has been rewritten to look like this country has done nothing but conquer and kill. Just like slavery, the issue of Immigration is twisted to fit someone’s agenda. In the slavery issue, many facts are overlooked, like the idea what the southern states stood for and what the war between the states actually was all about. With immigration, the need to justify people invading another country is being twisted to say that they need to be here but fail to see that Mexico is far from what Ireland or Prussia was like in the mid 19th century. If there was a real need for an invasion at any time, it should have happened when Mexico was an unstable country faced with real problems, not now.

What I am really bothered by is a true assault on our heritage here in this country. Starting with the Jamestown 400th anniversary being a quiet gathering instead of a state wide celebration and to the numerous magazine articles about how Jamestown was the start of the downfall of the American continent. Needless to say all of this gives the picture that the settlers of Jamestown launched an amphibious assault on the peaceful Indians and killed everyone in sight just to steal the land. The Indians did not fight the settlers off when they landed but accepted them as they part of the land and I won’t get into that stuff (too tired). It also amazes me that many times the word peaceful and Indian is used in the same paragraph, sometimes one precedes the other when in fact the peace did not flourish among the Native Americans as many think it has, some tribes were so blood thirsty that they killed anyone and anything in their path. But to counter this for you apologist, the Indians also had a loosely formed confederate throughout the American continent that many of the founding fathers saw as a model of a possible government for the newly born US.

We as Americans fail to grasp the concept of poverty in a country. For some reason people equate Mexico’s poverty with other countries like the Sudan or Uganda or even Eastern Europe, like Bosnia – there is a big difference between citizens of Mexico who is still far better off than any citizen of the countries mentioned. But this does not say there is no poverty in Mexico, it has a lot of it which is why I would rather see a strict enforcement of our laws to force the changes needed over on their side of the border instead of appeasing people who have entered here illegally to the point of invading to make them citizens instead.

Here we have Jalapeño kid on one hand pointing out some real facts, but on the other hand many of use fail to understand some of the pride that he and others have for their heritage. I am very proud of my mixed up heritage, but never will I ever call myself hyphenated American, that is un-American to me and many others. I did not come here but born here as were my parents. My grandparents legally immigrated here; my mother’s parents were what are considered serfs or slaves to the land. My grandmother, even after the First World War needed permission from the land owners, then the state to come here. My grandfather was conscripted into the army to fill quotas and jumped ship to get here. It took only 10 years to get my grandmother here and a lot of work at that. If you want to compare poverty, I can simply saying that the people who are invading here are not slaves, do not have to get permission from someone and than from the government and don’t live in such poverty that they come here with a sack of cloths and some pictures never to return.

As for the scientific achievements of one race or another, there is a lot to be said about it. But I must add in the last 160 or so years, no other country has been able to push science so far as we have in this country, which is one reason to be proud. Many can argue that the Europeans and the Soviets also added much to this, but if you look at the achievements made in the name of science not in the name of the state or some political organization, it is very clear that the freedoms that have been ensconce in this country’s culture allowed the achievements to be made.

I'll say something for broom. When I needed help broom and his wife sent me a thank you for serving card and some money. he can't be anti military and do that. i just got out of the hospital after being in for another week. i appreciate what he did and i'll never forget it. hopefully one day i'll be able to help someone when they need it.
