Very little, actually. He's been caught not only twisting the truth, and in lies of omission, but in outright blatant lies.
There are many examples, but his whole Cash for Clunkers government "web site" extravaganza was the last straw for me. He didn't just misrepresent the truth, he unashamedly and blatantly lied in order to get people mad, and to get ratings. And he did so on three consecutive shows, so he cannot plead ignorance after the first show. He tried, later saying that while he was informed of the truth after the first show, he wasn't able to confirm it until weeks later, even though confirmation takes about 5 seconds, and only required looking at something on his computer screen.
I no longer watch or listen to him, because he cannot be trusted.
Speaking of misrepresenting things and having to look at something, has anyone seen the new advertising for Best Buy and their new 3D televisions? For an additional setup fee of $149.99, the Geek Squad will set up the TV and Blu-Ray player, connect them to your wireless network, and sync the 3D glasses to the television.
The apparently uber-complicated process of syncing 3D shutter glasses only require that you LOOK AT THE SCREEN.

Stewart's performance was Emmy worthy, actually.
If you talent is lampooning people, then when you start lampooning people it's hard to figure that as being out of talent. The Daily Show has been lampooning politics and the people within politics since the day they went on the air. It's called Political Satire, and is a talent in its own right.

Beck is ALMOST as funny as what comes out of Pigloseys and Obama's faces!!! They are all just a huge joke!! Too bad that it is all costing us our FREEDOM!!! Things like FORCED health care are the result. ANY force like this is an attack on our FREEDOM!! Too bad so many in this forum and country like that.

I love it, you can always tell the Beck and Limbaugh fans just make fun of them or question something they may say and they come out of the word work and start saying, "Oh yeah, what about Obummer, Pilousy and........Reid(I didn't have a funny name for Reid). You do realize that Beck, Limbaugh and anyone on Fox News along with John Stewart, Olberman, O'donnell are entertainers don't you? And for the record I just started cathing Stewarts show, I've watched maybe 2 minutes of Olberman, didn't like him when he was on ESPN don't like 'em now, and I have no idea who O'Donnell is.
You know what Layout, you should take your own advice, ligthen' up, have a little laugh, stop being so serious. If you didn't find that the least bit funny you have some serious issues and I feel sorry for you.
I don't watch or listen to Beck or Rush. I don't get my news from any one outlet and try to get it from many. It is just so hard since all of the major outlets are so very bad at it.
As to taking is too serious, politics is a joke and would be more than worthy of laughing at, if they were not becoming a threat to our Nation, as they are. There are things that need to be defended against, socialism being one of them. Government oppression is another. Our government has been going down the socialist path for generations and now, if this so-called health care reform passes in it's present state, they will truly begin the oppression phase. They are giving themselves the power to do so.
