pre-qualifying with expediting companies

I would like to know exactly what it means to "pre-qualify" with a trucking company...and can that be done here on expeditersonline.com site....if so I want to get that done before I attend the expediters truck show in MI next month. I have put a search on the forums for this question but didn't really find what I was looking for...

what that means, is that your mvr has been run, past employers have been contacted, and most likly your backround has been checked. all you have left is drug test and medical. you can call whatever company you are thinking of going to, and fill their application out, and in a aday or two, you should know if your ok or not.
