how would a person without 6 months driving experience obtain a straight truck for a pre employment driving test

I can only speak about FedExCC.
They required me to take pre employment driving test with an approved school. Since none were in my area I had them fax driving test requirements to local school who agreed to comply when giving me test. I paid a fee to school and took driving test.
I've heard from other drivers that fee can range from $65 to $150 depending on driving school.

Good Luck

Took test passed paid all fees and they than on the way back to rental place went by DMV and got my offical CDL. Another $100+
