Dear Lord God, Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ, asking forgivenss of all my sins in thought, word and deed. Thank you for bringing me safely to another day, bless the work set before me, guide and protect those who will be out on the streets from me as I drive, and protect me from them, that no one be injured during this day. In Jesus name I pray "Thy will be done!" Amen.

When you pick up your bible, the Lord is there with you, as you read and study, the Holy Spirit is filling your heart with the faith to believe what you read. This is His promise, "I will be with you always, even unto the end of time!"

Six years ago, I obtained this computer, and began my search of the Internet. As a child of God, I was blessed to know where our synod website was. My semi flat bed trainer had a lap top and I could use it, going to www.clclutheran.org and get the weekly sermon. Or I could visit churches that sponsor video services. There is a period of time to wait to get the service, but that was and is ok.

As I knew so many of the pastors and teachers in our synod, if I had been in town on any Sunday morning, an early call would have gotten me a ride to church.

When I was a bus driver for 18 months and had to be away on a given sunday, I would print the weekly sermon, carry my bible and hymnal and hold my own private service while waiting for the group.

May the Lord bless and keep His children safe, where ever you are!

I use the XM family talk channel on sunday. They have church services all morning. Has anyone tried those truck stop ministries chapels? For some reason, I can't get myself into one of those trailers. Thanks for the wakeup call. I'll try a harder to spend more time each day in communication with my maker and reading my owners manual.
