I'm from new york and have my cdl b thinking of getting into this line of work and have no clue how to, would even drive to get with a good company in another state, no kids and would like to be by myself can anybody point me in the right dirction thanks

well, start reading the archieves. read back about 2 years.

call a few recruiters and ask them about the bizness. call anne muzinsky at bolt.

check the classifieds for owners seeking drivers and talk to them.

head to your local ts and talk to the drivers there. buy coffee always a winner.

not sure if there are expedite companies in your area. try google.

do you have funding to support yourself on the road until the money comes trickling in? trying to get money in advance costs money.
