Playing Bluegrass music on the road ?

I'm about this close (fingers narrowly spread) to buying my truck and expediting. My wife and I have been planning this for a while..but my passion is for playing bluegrass music. Do I have to give this up, or can I find folks to "jam" with out there on the road ? My banjo would get lonesome at home alone !:+

in expedite,you will sometimes have days of sitting around,get on cb,you will probably find someone to jam with,many guys carry instruments with them,harmonicas,to banjos

You can still jam...I do it all the time...there a quite few musicians in this business. Also, if you ever get through Big stone gap, va. check out the lazy picker's pickin' palace..they jan there every afternoon.It is a music store where a lot of great bluegrass guys hang out
