Does anyone make magnetic placard holders for the sides of cargo vans?
Ive seen mounts to put placard holders on the front and back bumpers. How do people put them on the sides other than driling holes or tape
When I needed to placard hazmat in the van, I used duct tape, it didn't harm anything coming off. DON'T use the 'self adhesive' on the placards - it sticks to the paint & has to be scraped off, usually.
That's exactly what i did. I went to a sign shop bought white magnets they use ro make door signs out of. Took them home and cut them 3/4 of an inch bigger than the plackard.
Now then i need to plackard a hazmat load i just put the magnets on the side of the Sprinter, one on the back door and one on the hood. Then i place the plackards on the magnets. Total cost was about $25. Plus i didn't have to drill any holes, plus no left over adhesive residue.
