Pita BUSTED!!!!!

Did anyone hear or read about Pita protesting the Nativity scenes?

Live animals have been used in some of these. Thus Pita is saying this is cruel.

Do animals not just stand around anyway? Maybee they would rather be sitting in a lounge chair instead. Was the manger not for animals and only used by poor people as a last resort, that they shared with the animals and did not kick them out?

I found it amuzing that they stated that "animals had gotten out and others were mistreated, and vandels were taking advantage of them."

Upon listening to a National Talk Show, they investigagted all of the national publications to see if even one claim PITA made was true or even if there were ever any kind of reporting to what they were claiming. You guessed it 0, none, zip, they made up the story just to make headlines.

So for the one who claimed on here to be a member to this orginization what ya gotta say to that? People have less rights than animals is that what Pita really stands for?

PS all people need to stay out of the forest! But if that happens why would people need to save the forest if they never enjoyed a forest?

PITA is a joke. They take a good idea, like prevention of animal cruelty, and screw it up so bad, it makes you want to go smack a dog. (Not really, of course, but if you can't take a little sarcasm, get a life.)

I emailed them once after they had a big "make up testing on animals is cruel!" campaign, and asked if it was less cruel to test makeup on people. The response was that there are "other ways to test makeup."

So I replied "I'm a fairly intelligent person, what other ways are there?"

Of course, they had no answer.

PETA is for the most part a radical bunch of idiots. The PITA mentioned here previously is Professional Independent Truckers Association. They are an even smaller and less effective group than OOIDA that takes away members from OOIDA that will only join one group.

Looks like Broom was correct in his spelling: PETA is a PITA (Pain In The A**)- they just want publicity, however they can get it. Oh, and your money...

Haha, I didn't even see that spelling, I just read the post and knew he meant PETA, as did I.

Thanks for making that point! I meant PETA, not PITA.

I agree peta is a pita. I just wanted to point out the pita that's a trucker's assoc. is taking some people away from OOIDA that would be better off there.

Go to Google, and dont spell it my way. Very intresting Web Sites about what they do who they are, and that people should actually DIE.

They support Terrorism, they have funded every activist who has been arrested for bombing buildings, arson, and other crimes against humanity. Go there it is true. I remember the building being blown up in East Lansing, MI about ten years ago. Peta funded money to the people arrested....

There is more much more.
