HURRICANE IRENE UPDATE: Additional store closures & openings

The following locations are currently closed:
Pilot 882 (dealer) – N Stonington, CT
Pilot 222 – Sturbridge, MA - currently does not have power; however generator is in route
Pilot 896 (dealer) – Bow, NH
Pilot 058 – Pleasant Hill, NC - Closing by Sherriff's order from 10pm tonight until 6am tomorrow morning.
Pilot 494 - Rotterdam, NY - currently does not have power
159 – Tallysville, VA – can only run inside sales on generator; no fuel; hope to have fuel up tomorrow
The following locations have power and are currently pumping fuel.
Pilot 384 – Richmond, VA
Flying J 688 – Carney’s Point, NJ
Flying J 784 – North East, MD
Flying J 749 – Carmel Church, VA
Pilot 290 – Perryville, MD
Pilot 210 – Mahwah, NJ
Pilot 394 – Newburgh, NY
Pilot 245 – Harrisburg, PA
Pilot 898 (dealer) – Emporia, VA

To Our Valued Customers:

Once again we are finding the Northeast in the path of a storm. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all our customers and team members who are finding themselves being evacuated due to flooding in their communities.

The Pilot Flying J Emergency Response Team is managing the situation and I will keep you updated on any changes related to our locations that are in the path of the flooding.

Below are the locations that we are watching very closely within the Pilot Flying J network. All of these locations are currently operating and pumping fuel.

Pilot #370 Scranton, PA
Pilot #298 Drums, PA
Pilot #290 Perryville, MD
Pilot #522 Pine Grove, PA (Dealer location)
Pilot #518 Frystown, PA (Dealer location)

Our dealer location in Duncannon, PA (Pilot #517) has closed due to flooding at the location.

There have been many road closures in the PA area, below is a memo from the PennDOT that will describe the closures. Also the rack in Northumberland, PA has closed.

We have positioned generators on the outskirts of the flooding and will be ready to move them in should any of our locations lose power. Also our transportation department is working hard to make sure that all locations are full on diesel so we can continue to serve your drivers in the region.

My wife was in the Harrisburg area today. Says it was a mess and that the rivers are very high.

To Our Valued Customers:

The news we are hearing is much better with the Northeast Flooding. According to our reports, the waters are receding and roads are re-opening.

Our dealer location in Duncannon, PA (#517) is still closed and we do not anticipate it re-opening until early next week. Also the rack in Northumberland, PA is still closed.

Below is an update on the road closures and re-openings in the region.

· I-81 both lanes still closed, just north of Harrisburg, PA near Pine Grove Twp
· I-81 in Binghamton NY region is open
· I-80 is open but flooding reported at interchanges ramps at exit 215 (near Bloomsburg, PA)
· US 22/322 north west of Harrisburg, PA both lanes still closed (Duncannon PA)
· PA Turnpike is now open between Harrisburg and Philadelphia
· I-95 near Perryville MD is also open according to MD 511 website

Our Emergency Response Team will be monitoring the situation throughout the weekend and if anything major changes from this update we will send out another update.
