Those little pictures are known as Avatar's. Just enter the words "Free Avatars" into the search engine box and you will get a few thousand hits. When you find one that you like, right click on it and then click "Properties". The Avatar dimensions for this message board can not exceed "48 x 48 pixels". That is fairly small, so you will have to do a little research to find one that meets the requirement.
When you do find one, copy the URL (Address) from the box that opened when you right clicked the Avatar. Next, open your profile page and scroll down to the Avatar box. Finally, paste that address into the box provided. You should be good to go!
