This town is so difficult and such a pain in the A** to get around in, the people are so rude to others on the road... I have had two GPS's that don't like being there so much they don't work correctly.... I would rather drive in atlanta or chicago anyday.

Philly is a walk in the park compared to Pittsburgh.

I have a great idea. All of you can just stay out of Philly, and all the other east coast cities as well, and leave all the freight to certain carriers that like to operate in that area.

Philly and pittsburgh are two areas I look forward to being in as far as freight goes. Good areas . I never fear a location, heavy traffic just means things slow down a lot. I'm able to concentrate on safety more..

No matter where we need to go in Philly, our GPS always takes us to a bad part of town. The streets are really narrow and we end up going in a back way. Maybe we should look at the directions the company sends us for truck routes and we would be much better off. Good sandwiches though and that makes up for a lot. We LOVE the art museum it is one of the best in the world. Oh, and they have a two story condom kingdom (if that's you thing) just a block from the best cheese steak in the world. There is also some kinda big bell with a crack in it. It's important to enjoy the journey.

I used to drive motor coach lots of trips to every city especially NYC at christmas not to easy with a 45 foot bus... Traffic is not the issue and neither is the freight.. just the city with the poorly marked streets and the non cooperative drivers..... but will just deal as we usually get decent loads into and out of....
