Petro in Las Vegas

I took a load across the dam a while back, too. No big or straight trucks across it, at least not until they get that new bridge finished.

When I Vegas I usually park at the Pilot, same exit as the Freightliner dealer, next exit north from the Flying J. They have a large-ish lot on the side for vans and stuff, they won't bother you. If you park at the Flying J you need to park on the side, not in front of the restaurants, or they'll stick an "No Overnight Parking" sign on your window.

I was all paranoid about not being able to cross over the Hoover Dam, but they let me across because all I had was a load of tiles. They looked over the skid and all and let me go through. What did they do to you oiler, did they make you turn around and head back in the opposite direction?

They just don't like yellow vans.

I was out in Las Vegas in Dec. Didn't get a load outta there and headed east. Crossed the the Hoover and not so much as a second look from the guards. I wouldn't like the whole rerouting thing. Were you carrying hazmat or something?

The Petro is excellent at returnig phone calls, good or bad.Real Class act, as far as I'm concerned,

They finally called, talked to manager and district manager, both very rude people. They even tried lying , saying it was a city ordinance against me parking there overnite, called the city, they said that only applied to RV'S. So im asking myself, should i just let it go? hahahaha

Why let it drop when you've gone this far with it?

Well, manager and district both finally admitted it was just a local policy, Filed another complaint again with Petro about treatment, I dont really think they are going to do anything about it. But maybe i will be suprised.

You know, on one hand i can understand what they are trying to do there, cause when i went down the road to the vegas TA, There were lots of people living out of cars and such there, really sad thing to see. But me, I still had freight on board waiting to drop the next day and they knew i did
