I found out today that Canada is going to make the use of PARS mandatory. They were shooting for September but that has been moved back. Look for it early in '06.

Basically yes.
If you come into Canada; you will need to get PARS stickers made.
They have been discouraging the use of A8A's for a long time now.
Now, is the Carrier you are leased to,Mike, telling you this was acceptable?
It is the CARRIER's (not the owner-operator's) responsibility to request a Carrier Code and have the PARS barcodes supplied.
