Panther Expedite has become Panther Premium Logistics. Late last night a person or persons in Seville committed felinicide. One of the cats was killed. Unconfirmed sources report that Lefty was the victim. These same sources report Righty is alive and unharmed. Not only is Righty alive, he miraculously acquired a lower torso, complete with legs. Stay tuned for breaking developments.

I still prefer the old panther II logo
Their website reflects the name change and contractors were sent an E-mail announcing the name change.

ArcBest CorporationSM is proud to unveil a new logo and name for Panther, as well as all other subsidiaries, to more closely align our corporate families.
The new logo and name emphasizes that all ArcBest CorporationSM subsidiaries are working together to provide a wide array of services to their customers. This change, while exciting, is a formality and will in no way affect our day-to-day business offerings or our strategic planning. Panther remains committed to serving our customers and fleet partners by providing exceptional customer service and support.
To clarify, the ABF FreightSM and the Panther fleets will remain completely separate entities. While the new logo brings in the new, it remains true to the old. We are very proud of our history and the Panther image has been a mainstay throughout our existence. Panther will maintain the Panther image, although in a new, exciting form.
Not me! Having one full bodied cat is way less scary than two half cats. Also, I think the sans-serif type face looks cleaner and more contemporary than the Old Style type.
I wonder if the SCAC will change? It didn't when the name changed from Panther II to Panther Expedited Services.
The press release mentions exciting no less than 3 times.New scac code is WOOD.
