If you have a laptop with internet you might like TriStates system...It shows you every truck loaded or not and where they are headed loaded...and dwell time. No more guessing on what board is where or how many...I don't know of any carrier that won't drive a person crazy at times so thats covered.
You've found a good owner, I'd be inclined to at least give it a try.
Good Luck.........Ken (OVM)

I have hauled for tri-state and yes at time they will drive you nuts but they have kept us busy just make sure if you change owners that you check them out as well as you are checking tri-state out it will save you in the long run.

good choice (i think?), cuz you can always find another owner with panther if this carrier doesn't work out for you.

I drove for both of them and now that I don't I have learned alot and know where they are coming from.

I truely believe they are both great companies, one has this, the other has something else, this one doesn't have this, but the other doesn't have that.

The key is to listen and learn - you will not regret working with either one.

My husband and I switched to tristate from panther. The differences we noticed for us was that we did get longer team runs but we also had to dh alot. They are alot more driver friendly. And they don't bug you over the qc as much.

how is tri state for solos in a straight truck? Miles, loads per week... what do they pay straight trucks per mile?
