PANTHER II Mini PanelVans

I see so many Panther Logisitics Mini Vans on the Highway with a GPS locator & Panther Logo. What are the functions of these vans?
Are there Job opportunities for a driver opening in the company?

Panther uses 3/4 or 1 ton vans to run time critical shipments over the road. Panther is currently looking for both drivers and owner operators for the cargo vans. Panther doesn't own any of these vans, but we do have opportunities where we can set you up to drive for one of our fleet owners who may have a van needing a driver. Hope this helps.

What are the qualifications required for this type of work? I have CDL-A Hazmat, 1 1/2 years verifiable TT exp, 150K+ verifiable accident/ticket free miles, and looking for a change. What other requirements do your fleet owners usually look for?

Qualifications to operate a cargo van are pretty basic for most of the expediting companies out there. All you need is a cdl c w haz and a fairly clean mvr with a current d.o.t physical. Of course passing a drug test a no recent felonies usually helps also. Whether your looking to bring your own van into a system or drive for a fleet owner, usually companies are looking for a 99 or 2000 or newer 1 ton or 3/4 ton van with at least 9' of cargo space. However, keep in mind if you are looking to drive for a fleet owner, they may require you to stay out a certain amount of time.
