Panther Expedite Names New CEO

This is a very good move as Louis Schneeberger is the right person for the job and knows the Panther system already. If ABC had brought someone in from outside of Panther Expedited Services, I feel that this would have us looking at our long term relationship with Panther Expedited Services.
Promoting Ed Wadle to Chief Operating Officer was another smart move by ABC as it shows that they promote within the company. It also shows that ABC wants Panther Expedited Services to move forward as one of the top expedite carriers to it owners and drivers. I look forward to working with these two gentleman as we grow our business relationship with Panther Expedited Services.

I feared they would try and move someone over from ABF. I have never been impressed with them and impressed with Panther.
ABF doesn't own Panther. Panther is owned by Arkansas Best Corp (ABC)
I wouldn't have been sold on a move from ABF to Panther. Just too different operations. I think they made the right call. But they did bring Andy Clarke from a truckload operation and it seemed to work fairly well. Time will tell I guess like all these companies that make changes.

I never heard of Arkansas Best Corporation referred to as ABC and didn't make the connection. I wonder how WalMart feels about playing second fiddle to ABC?
I don't know, I don't shop at Wal-mart anymore as they are part of the problem with hurting US companies. Most of the stuff they have isn't even made in the USA, it come from China, or somewhere outside the US.
