Owner wants Quote on adding gen/AC

When I started driving for this peach of a guy, he mentioned he had plans for adding a gen and AC.

After spending one miserable night with the temps never below 76, I reminded him of his remarks. He said go get a quote from a RV dealer.

My own gut feeling is this would be cost prohibitive for a 06 model E350. Maybe I am wrong. I thought I would get your input before doing a lot of wheel spinning.

You've been doing this waaaaay to long to put up with that kind of stuff! LOL! I don't think anyone can compete with your time in this industry.

So - hopefully some fleet owner reading this has a loaded ride for you......

On the low end your looking at 1400.00 for rooftop, install and Generator. It goes up from there. Its sad but a very small group of fleet owners install air on spribters. It only invites over idleing and for good reasons.

And about how much would you venture to guess a porta air, generator to cover it and some interior accessories & a bumper riding box might run?

Well interior accessories doesn't say much are we talking stripper pole or what. Not really familiar with the pricing on those air units. So much varies on space, insulation, BTU needed to cool that which figures into required Gen size.

I would think your looking at 1500.00 min but that's only a wild guess.
