I just got an overweight ticket,which my my employer is paying for.I drive a dumptruck,for now,but trying to get back into expediting in a cargo van,will this overweight ticket hurt me from driving in a cargo van? I'm ashamed to say how much it was over...I don't know when it will be applied to my MVR.Thank you.

TeamBud8,
No fears....movers are all we care about. Overweight is a common thing..costly.

By the way, we are putting a few vans on if you're interested.

TeamBud8;

Most companies will only hold moving violations against you. Overweight tickets are common.

Some good, free, advice - make sure to get a copy of the documentation that the ticket was indeed paid by the company. I've had a few experiences where the company advised a driver they would take care of a fine and never did - leaves the driver with a suspended license and unable to work. CYA.

Thanks,
