Ordering back up

I am now finally getting around to ordering a new back up shotgun. My Benelli is back from the gunsmith but I have not got to try it to see if it is fixed.

Just in case it does not, and because I need a backup, I am going to order a Stoeger A2000, black synthetic, with a 24" barrel. It handles about the same as my SBE so it should do the trick.

My Ducks Unlimited membership is paying off, nice discount through them.

What is your opinion of Stoeger shotguns? I have a Stoeger Coach Gun 12Ga. Double barell and I LIKE it! I have had some "experts" tell me they are a POS. Naturally somebody just has to have an expert opinion. What are your views of Stoeger?

I don't own one, but I do know they are popular with CAS shooters, thoose guys pop a lot of shells so they can't be that bad.

My guess is he thinks favorably about them.
That may be the reason he is buying one.

Lout, when ur duck hunting in the cab, dont ur wadders get in the way when its time to pee, and how do u get those ducks to fly through the cab. just wondering, its early.lol

The Stoegers are OK guns. They are owned by the same people that own Benelli and Beretta. They are, for the most part, made in Turkey. Their semi-autos use the same design as Benelli. The quality is not the greatest but it will make a fine backup shotgun for my needs.


Skyraider, I don't wear waders when duck hunting.
