I've just unloaded in area 51 (Roswell,NM) and since this is my first time in this area I am wondering where the best freight zones are. I'm about 200 miles from Albuquerque,NM / El Paso,TX /Amarillo,TX. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Most likely El Paso is going to be best. Have you checked with whoever you run for?

On your way down to El Paso, will you take the senic route down through Cloudcroft and tell me how pretty it is? If you're in a cargo van, go south through the mountains, national forest, Timberon then on to the gravel roads into El Paso the backway. The beauty is worth it if you have some time to kill. The fresh air will help off-set the stinky smog in El Paso.

At the moment, Diane and I are sitting at the Flying J at Exit 0 (zero) just west of El Paso on I-10. We're on a weekend run and have a little time to spare. If you're in the area, tonight or tomorrow morning, private message me. Pie and coffee, or breakfast is on me.

Heck why mess around out west, if your in area 51 have them beam you to Ohio or somewhere in the midwest, no fuel cost or anything.

How do you log that?

Beaming is the perferred way to move to new locations. no fuel is used,no wear and tear on that old beat up FL 70. Just have your log book say 'On Duty beaming", the DOT guys/gals are well familar with "Beaming" and will not bother you. However make sure you put in the proper coordinates so you don't wind up in Irag or Afghanistan like one of our long time members has.

I don't know about that beaming stuff. I'm afraid I'd end up like Mel Brooks in Spaceballs with my butt on backwards. And, how come Kirk and Spock always had to go to the transporter room when they were always just beaming people from one spot to another?

I believe Albert King is the only one privy to the knowledge of how to get yo' mojo woikin'.Unfortunately he has joined all the other great bluesmen at the great juke joint in the sky....
