The wife and I have had some time on our hands out here in this great state of California. Our truck has been tied up for repairs at the Fontana FTL dealer..Not the place to get work done if you are in any kind of hurry, the quality is yet to be determined... but that is not the purpose of this post... we have had the time to find some good places to eat... despite being only a few blocks from TA, not where I am chosing to eat... we found a place called Zeke's Eattin Place 1855 E 4th St Ontario, CA 91764
(909) 984-2900 This place is a little small but the lot has room for a straight truck or bobtail. Prices are good and food was great... Open for breakfast and lunch. just a few miles from the TA. It is in a strip mall behind a Pollo Loco.. Enjoy!!!

If you get to Lake Elsinore not far from Ontario there used to a be a great place that had cheap food called The Taco Shop...it's probably been at least a decade since I've been there so no guarantees it's still good or even open! I really miss that place and one other little dive on the way to Perris whose name escapes me!

We always enjoy going to Farmer boy's across the street from the TA. Or to the Japanese steak house on the other side of 15. Both just a short walk away.

Diane and I discovered the Farmer's Brothers restaurant last time we were at the TA East in Ontario, CA. It was delightful and just a short walk from the parking lot they let expediters use at the TA. We went back the next day and will be back the next time we are in town.
