Dear Friends,

As a retired expediter, I know that it is difficult to attend the traditional days of worship due to the nature of your work.

If you would like to join us online, it would be a blessing to have you.

I try to keep it short, because I know that you are busy.

Please visit the church on Facebook at : https://www.facebook.com/groups/301476353320746/

Take care and God Bless.

They are a Calvary Chapel affiliated church, most if NOT all Calvary Chapels follow the same type of teaching, while I am not super dogmatic about it, this style of teaching is great for covering ALL of the Bible in context, rather than just pulling some verses to make a sermon topic. I attend a different Calvary Chapel in Oregon, Calvary Chapel of Crook County, we also have the weekly message online usually by Tuesday, might be something else to listen to if you get tired of John :)

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this thread is about Dave Hall's online church, you know, the one where he's the pastor. Common courtesy and proper decorum suggests this isn't the place for people to suggest going to alternatives. It's rather rude, IMNHO.

Ahhh, don't be too hard on them haha. Since I thought it was a general posting I would have done the same if I had another alternative to suggest. But with the this new knowlege, I will check it out :)

Hi Jim and Shayne,

After two years, I think I am finally getting used to all of the changes.

The heat, the rainy season, having people in the store tell me "sorry, out-of-stock", explaining that I am not a tourist so don't charge me more for the tricycle ride. LOL

Last year they opened the very first mall on the island complete with 4 cinemas. 2012 and they get their very first cinema on the island. Going there reminds me of home. There are a couple of nice coffee stores and I get to meet other foreigners in those places.

The work has not been without difficulties. Churches here have the same problems as those in America. We do our best and try not to let the problems hinder the spread of the Gospel. As an expediter I attended a church in Stockton, CA and that pastor is helping to get Bibles for new converts and Bible Institute students. I was very encouraged by his willingness to help.

Interestingly enough I actually miss the road. In fact, with so much spare time I replay the runs I did in great detail. Recall memory is an interesting thing; like when you here an oldie in the supermarket and suddenly all the words come back to you.

My prayers are with you. If you have any special needs or requests, please PM me.

Kind regards,
Pastor Dave
