Oil pressure

My truck is idling at about 110 degrees but the oil pressure is at 65 psi and doesn't seem to go down. Isn't it supposed to go down to about 40 if its idling?

Not sure what kind of truck but 110 is too low. Oil is thicker so the pressure is higher.
Turn off the engine fan or put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator to make it run warmer.
Like around 180 degrees. Then see if the pressure drops.

I agree with daveck If no other problems are showing. If an increase in the temp dosent change the oil pressure try changing the oil filter especialy if you used a cheap one. Also check the oil pressure and coolant sensor and circuits. If one sensor is off and depending on how much controll the computer has it can cause the engine to compensate.

Try bumping the idle up a couple of hundred RPM if you are gonna be stoped for a while that should keep the truck warmer & the OP lower.
