In Simpsonville, KY at the moment. After not getting the QC updated over the weekend I loaded out of Detroit Sunday night. On the way to the delivery Monday morning, at 0900 Matt calls me up out of the blue and says he can do the update while I'm driving, over the air. Took about an hour to complete. Easy peasy no fuss no muss.

Took me about five minutes to figure out the Workflow process, as it's kinda clunky and not very intuitive. Needs a couple of interface improvements to reduce the number of clicks and pages, ease of navigation. And the "trip notes" that can be readily seen on Fleetvision needs to be added to the QC in either the Details or Info page. But overall it's a very good improvement.

Out of the blue, I tell ya. :D

P.S. I really like the weekly reminder we get that basically says, "We have added additional staff to handle the increased phone calls... so don't call us."

We can do a limited amount "over the air". Too much data to push out to all of the units. The other part is we have to "touch" the unit to get the second part (navigation) installed and running. Being a new thing, we will be working to update and improve the workflow product over time. Any suggestions can be emailed to Steve Briggs at [email protected] or you can see him when you are in next time.

The trip notes and pay shoud still be coming over through the normal macro messages as they have in the past. If you are different notes than those I would be interested in seeing what notes you see from the FleetVision side.
We continue to work with our software company to get Workflow more user friendly and iron out the bugs along the way.
Some get the idea to use the QC first and phone second but we still have more to train which is why that message continues to go out.

My only suggestion is to be able to access previous load info in the history. Once you get dispatched on your next load the previous info.is.gone

Thanks. Sent him an e-mail with an attached screenshot of the Leg Notes that are on Fleetvision but aren't on the QC.

Thanks! That kind of stuff helps us to show the programmers a lot easier.

wombat, wombat, you have been doing this for years. you shouldnt have to be told whether this is a good area or not. ofcourse dispatch is optimistic about all areas and being able to aquire freight out of them. you have been with the company long enough to know what is what and if unsure, dont ask dispatch if its a good area. tell them you are unsure and you will do the load but they will have to bump the % a LITTLE just in case you need or want to move. try to negotiate the load so both parties involved help each other out. if it cant be worked out then just say no if you are uncertain. ofcourse, a record of loads done to look back on can help in this situation tremendously.

Noticed a nice addition to the safety training page. The home screen after you log in lists the videos to be watched by month. Thanks! Thats a big help!
