According to the Fox News Web site, this Sunday's 9PM show will be about ACORN.
"This contains things that were Just Uncovered and the Media won't Cover!!"
If they were just uncovered, how can anyone even have the time to cover them, much less be able to schedule two days from now a one-hour in-dept exposé on it? And if they were just uncovered, why take the chance that someone will beat you to the punch by not having at the very least a "Breaking News Crawl" 24/7, instead of leaking it out to the world via the Internet in an e-mail.
I'm just sayin'.
Oh, so it was sent to you by someone you know and trust.
I supposed some people might be interested in watching it, if it were remotely real. However, considering the information in the e-mail is verifiably incorrect, one has to question the level of blind trust you have placed in this person. At the very least one would have to question how the author of said e-mail managed to garner information about Fox News' future programming that Fox News themselves do not seem to have. Interesting, indeed.
No one said anything about a "leak" to the world and just which news organization should Fox worry about "beating them to the punch" concerning Acorn? The state-owned media, like their "boss", won't touch anything controversial until the public outcry forces them to address the issue and even then, they patty-cake, sugarcoat the thing. As for "the boss", well, he doesn't need to sugarcoat.....he just LIES!And if they were just uncovered, why take the chance that someone will beat you to the punch by not having at the very least a "Breaking News Crawl" 24/7, instead of leaking it out to the world via the Internet in an e-mail.
Don't watch what? The thing that's not going to be on in the first place?Well Then----------------Don't Watch it!!
It's not personal, but it gets on my nerves sometimes when people blindly and stupidly pass along dead wrong information because they failed to check it out.Like I said, I Received this in an e-mail and all I Did was Pass it on for those who Might want to watch it!
You aren't the messenger here, you are either wittingly or unwittingly the spreader of lies and misinformation. But Don't try and Shoot the Messenger if It's wrong!!
I dunno. I imagine that if it's about ACORN then it's about ACORN, and not what you said it's about.I Imagine if it's about ACORN Then it's a Start Right?
Of course they did. I did. I postulated it as an absurdity. No one said anything about a "leak" to the world...
None that I know of. <shrug> You're the first to approach the subject of "beating them to the punch" concerning ACORN. When I used that phrase I was commenting on the "just uncovered" revelations about Obama's racist past, and how it seems unlikely that Fox News would release such an information teaser via an e-mail and not do so on their own network. Did you not read what I wrote?and just which news organization should Fox worry about "beating them to the punch" concerning Acorn?
Of course they did. I did. I postulated it as an absurdity.
None that I know of. <shrug> You're the first to approach the subject of "beating them to the punch" concerning ACORN. When I used that phrase I was commenting on the "just uncovered" doesn't matter whether it's "just uncovered" or not, we all know how reluctant the rest of the media has been to cover this story and others that put Obama and his RADICAL past in a bad light revelations about Obama's racist no, RADICAL past, and how it seems unlikely that Fox News would release such an information teaser via an e-mail and not do so on their own network. The original post did not claim that the email came from Fox News.... Did you not read what I wrote? Yes, did YOU??
This thread concerns the misinformation about what is to transpire on Sunday night with the "just uncovered" things about Obama's racist past. The word "racist" was not used....it was RADICAL. The only thing that ACORN has to do with any of this is the fact that it is a show on ACORN, and not Obama, Those of us who understand what's going on here can see that they are one and the same. that Fox News is supposed to air Sunday night, yet those who penned the e-mail, and passed it along, didn't even bother to do the most rudimentary cursory research into the information they were distributing.
Good.I'm not going around and around on this,
Clearly, your definition of WW3 and mine differ. In addition, your definition of "simple e-mail" is clearly different than mine. This particular example of "simple e-mail" is political SPAM, and it's made-up a lie. I point this out in the hopes that someone down the line will actually think before they blindly and stupidly pass this kind of crap along to others.it's ludicrous that one can't make a post about a simple email they received without it becoming WW3 on here.
Well, gee, for one, I didn't know that topic of discussion had to meet with your approval. Two, using this forum to perpetuate misleading and false information is, to many, at least a semi-crucial topic. I know it is to me. I'm just not one to so easily dismiss this kind of falsehood as you. The only thing worse than wrong information is intentionally fictitious information.Don't we have a lot of other, more crucial topics we could be discussing?
Yeah, I read it, most of it. McChrystal is actually on the same page as Andrew McCarthy and many others, it's just that his hands are tied by the political correctness of the current Rules of Engagement. Like an actor, all he can do is show up on time, hit his marks and say his lines. He has no control over the writing, the production or the direction of this thing. That's up to those in Washington.Did you read my post about General McChrystal? I sincerely would be interested in your views of the reports coming out of Afghanistan and his report asking for more troops.
